The Election Commission has stated that 15 million ballot papers have been printed under the proportional electoral system for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21. Now, 5 million ballot papers remain to be printed.

The printing of ballot papers has been underway at the printing house of Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra Limited since Magh 20. The printing of ballot papers for the first-past-the-post electoral system will begin as soon as the printing of the proportional electoral system is completed, informed Election Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai.

He also said that one copy of the voter list has been printed and distributed to all districts for the purpose of nomination registration. The other three copies of the voter list are being printed at the commission premises, the commission said.
