28 people have registered their candidacies in Syangja for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on 21 Falgun.

The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer has stated that three independent candidates have been registered with various political parties.

According to the Election Office, two independent candidates have been registered in Constituency No. 1 and one in Constituency No. 2.

Shailendra Ghimire had registered his candidacy in Constituency No. 1 in Syangja on behalf of the Nepali Communist Party. Similarly, Dhananjay Regmi is from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Bharat Dhakal is from the Nepali Congress, and Min Prasad Gurung is from the CPN-UML. Similarly, Shram Sankriti, Prajatantra Loktantri Party, CPN-Maoist, Ujjaya Nepal, Mongol National Organization, and RPP have also filed their candidacies.

In Constituency No. 2, Padam Bahadur BK is from the Nepali Communist Party, Jhabilal Dumre is from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Bhagwat Prakash Malla is from the Congress, and Khim Bahadur Thapa is from the UML.
