Former Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor and senior leader of the National Independent Party Balendra Sah (Balen) has already registered his candidacy in that constituency. The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has fielded former student leader Ranjit Tamang as its candidate from that constituency.
