The National Independent Party has not registered its candidacy from Manang in the House of Representatives election. According to the District Election Office, Manang, five political parties have registered their candidacies from Manang within the stipulated time on Tuesday.

Govinda Prasad Aryal, Information Officer of the District Election Office, informed that candidacies have been registered from Congress, UML, Nepali Communist Party, RPP and Mongol National Organization. 

RPP had given ticket to Anil Gurung from Manang. However, he did not register his nomination. 

With the non-registration of candidacy in Manang, RPP will have candidates in only 164 seats out of 165 direct seats.

Tek Bahadur Gurung from Congress, Polden Chhopang Gurung from UML, Yashoda Gurung Subedi from NCP, Kubir Singh Gurung from RPP and Ram Bahadur Ale from Mangal National have been elected in Manang. 

There are 7,000 voters in Manang.
