Brijesh Kumar Gupta, who has separated from UML, is going to file his candidacy with the star election symbol. Gupta, who had been saying that he would contest the election independently in Kapilvastu 2, is going to contest from the NCP.

He decided to stand up with the star election symbol only this morning. He was elected to the House of Representatives twice and the Constituent Assembly twice. He is a former central member of the UML.
