Bishnu Poudel from UML, Ashish Subedi from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and Bishwadeep Pandey from NCP are also contesting from this constituency.
The Nepali Congress has fielded industrialist Chunna Prasad Poudel as its candidate from Rupandehi-2. Poudel, who is also a representative of the Congress's general convention, is a successful businessman from Butwal.
UML Vice President and former Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel, who has been winning continuously since 2064, is also in the election contest from Rupandehi-2. Poudel, who is preparing to become a candidate from Palpa-2, has decided to contest from Rupandehi-2 after intense pressure from Rupandehi cadres.
Similarly, in Rupandehi-2, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has fielded Ashish Subedi of the Balendra Shah group. The NCP, on the other hand, has given a ticket to Bishwadeep Pandey.
