Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that there is no alternative to elections to resolve the current political problems in the country.

At a party induction program organized at the central office here today, he stressed that political parties should be fully prepared for the elections and not to pursue the restoration of parliament.

Urging the government to hold the elections in a fair and fearless environment, former Prime Minister Dahal expressed the view that the existing political instability and confusion in the country should be resolved and good governance should be established.  Stating that polarization has begun among the left forces that have similar ideological views, he informed that they will unite with other parties within a few days.

Co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal said that the people's trust and confidence have increased as the socialist program is clear in the party's political philosophy.  Former Prime Minister Nepal mentioned that left-wing polarization will be taken forward by integrating parties with similar political views and principles.

A team led by Central Vice-Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal Vidyut Bajracharya was welcomed to the NCP at the program.
