After the Election Commission recognized the Gagan Kumar Thapa faction, who was elected president at the special general convention, Khadka claimed that a special meeting was held and recognized it.
He gave this response while talking to journalists at the Election Commission premises. He has now indicated that he will move the Supreme Court against the Election Commission.
‘The Election Commission has made a conspiratorial decision. This goes against the established precedent of the commission,’ he said, ‘This is invalid. The establishment party is dismissed. We will fight a political legal and political battle. It is said to have been set up. The decision claimed by one party has been made. The Congress Central Working Committee led by President Sher Bahadur Daua remains intact. The Election Commission has not called the official president and central committee once, which is against the decision-making process of the Election Commission. It is against the party statute and regulations.’
