Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel has said that the election for members of the House of Representatives will be held on the date set by the interim government.
While announcing the decision of the cabinet meeting on Friday, Spokesperson Kharel said that the date will not be changed as the election date has been fixed for Falgun 21. He also said that the government is serious about holding the election on Falgun 21.
He said, ‘The election date has been fixed for Falgun 21. There is no change from that. The responsibility of holding the rest of the election lies with the government and all the concerned bodies.’
