Two central members have expressed dissatisfaction with the central committee meeting held to take action against General Secretary Gagan Thapa, Bishwaprakash Sharma, and Joint General Secretary Farmullah Mansur.

In the central committee meeting held at the central office in Sanepa on Wednesday, central members Ramhari Khatiwada and Chandra Bhandari stood up and walked out after a proposal was made to take action against General Secretaries Thapa and Sharma and Joint General Secretary Mansur. Khatiwada said that they walked out expressing dissatisfaction with the proposal as it would split the party. 'After the proposal was presented, Chandra Bhandari and I stood up and walked out of the central committee meeting,' Khatiwada said, 'We were of the opinion that the party should not split.'

The signatures made by the central members on Tuesday were used to take action against Thapa, Sharma and Mansur. Khatiwada said, 'The signatures were probably used yesterday.'
