Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa has issued an open call for citizens to provide ideas and suggestions on issues related to party reorganization and national priorities.
Making public a video message on social media, he said that he has started working to take the debate raised by the Gen-G movement to the policy level. Currently, special general convention-focused activities are being carried out under the auspices of Nepali Congress General Secretaries Thapa and Bishwaprakash Sharma. He said that a few days ago, when he called for ideas to take the issue of party reorganization raised by the Gen-G movement to the national level, there was a lot of response.
‘A few days ago, I had posted an idea that there should be a national level concern on the issue of party reorganization raised by the Gen-G movement. Many have given me ideas, I have already started working on it,’ Thapa said, ‘Some have inquired whether we also give ideas. I also want to hear and learn from your ideas.'
Thapa said that all the suggestions sent will be noted and a 'reachout' will be done with the concerned parties after the special general convention. 'I will note the ideas sent and reach out after the special general convention. We can address the issues raised by the Genji movement even before the elections,' he added.
He has made an online form public to collect ideas. Some participants will be selected for the virtual dialogue through the form. All the feedback received through the form will be carefully studied and a summary of the suggestions will be prepared and shared with the concerned team for policy discussions and future action plans.
It is mentioned in the form that the voice of all participants will be important.
