Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Rajendra Bhandari has said that Nepal is currently in a transition phase and that overcoming it is a top priority.

Minister Bhandari said that after the Gen-G movement, the country should descend from the transition and open the door to development.

At a program organized by the Sudurpaschim Sarokar Manch in Kathmandu on Saturday, Minister Bhandari said that the government should determine its priorities and move forward. 'The main issue now is that among many problems, we have to determine priorities and take the country from transition to descent,' Minister Bhandari said. 'After that descent, the doors of development will open through transformation and succession.'

Bhandari said that the transition situation has arisen due to not listening to the people's voices. 'When asked why the transition came, the transition is born from the effects of encroachment. If there was encroachment in the village, the voices were not heard,' he said. 'There is a big gap between matters of public concern and the government. The government does not listen to issues of concern. That is why a transition period has been created in the country.'

Stating that there is unrest in the country, Minister Bhandari pledged to do good work. 'Sometimes, when you are trapped in a web of uncertainty, you may end up like Abhimanyu! What is a commitment? I don't know how much can be done, but whatever can be done, it is done in a way that gives you self-satisfaction,' he said.

Minister Bhandari said that there was no minister from the Far West, which suffered the most martyrs in the Gen-G movement, on time. He said that he would take all possible initiatives for the development of the Far West.

The Far West Concern Forum honored Minister Bhandari and the NPL runner-up Sudurpaschim Royals at the program. Manager Sunil Thapa accepted the honor on behalf of the Far West Royals.

The forum had formed a sub-committee under the coordination of Vice President Tikaram Bhatta to coordinate and collaborate with organizations related to the Far West Province and the Far West Province Government.
