The Central Security Committee is set to receive information about the final preparations being made by security agencies regarding the elections.
The committee meeting held at the Home Ministry on Sunday discussed the preparations made by the security agencies so far for the elections and the coordination that the ministry should take, Home Spokesperson and Joint Secretary Anand Kafle said.
He also said that it was decided to discuss the campaign to arrest prisoners who have escaped after the Gen-G movement and to further activate the special operations of the security agencies. He also said that the discussion focused on the incidents of making false and misleading comments on various social media platforms targeting different religious communities and each other's religions and disrupting each other's religion.
