The Nepali Congress has extended the term of the party's Central Working Committee until mid-June.
Spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat informed that the meeting of the Central Working Committee held at the party's central office in Sanepa on Friday decided to extend the term until mid-Jeshtha. Earlier, the meeting on Mangsir 15 had extended the term of the Central Working Committee until mid-Magh.
He said that the 15th General Convention proposed in this month could not be held due to various problems and the schedule was passed with modifications. According to him, the meeting passed the schedule of holding the regular General Convention on Baisakh 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2083 with the support of the majority of members.
