Congress Dadeldhura has unanimously recommended the name of President Sher Bahadur Deuba as a single candidate for the House of Representatives elections.
District President Bhim Bahadur Saud informed that former Prime Minister Deuba's name has been unanimously recommended. Deuba has been winning elections continuously from Dadeldhura since 2048 BS and a few days ago he wanted to contest the election for the last time.
Similarly, he has also been recommended from Bara-3. According to Regional President Prabhat Chaurasia, the names of 10 people including Deuba have been sent to the center directly.

The meeting of Kaski Constituency No. 3 unanimously recommended Dahal's name in the meeting held on 21 Falgun. His name has been recommended as number one. Constituency No. 3 is Dahal's birthplace. He was born in Levade in Annapurna Rural Municipality and migrated to Chitwan. He was elected from Kathmandu-10 and Rolpa-2 in the Constituent Assembly elections held in 2064 BS. He was elected from Siraha-5 in the second Constituent Assembly elections held in Mangsir 2070 BS and was defeated in Kathmandu-10.
NCP leaders Barshaman Pun has been recommended from Rolpa, Bamdev Gautam from Pyuthan and Bardiya-1, Narayan Kaji Shrestha from Sarlahi-3, and Dev Gurung from Lamjung.
NCP spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkoto said that the candidates have not been finalized. “Senior leaders including the chairman have been recommended from various places. But there is still time to finalize the constituency,” he said.
NCP co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal has been recommended from Rautahat-1 and Kathmandu-2 for the upcoming representative elections.
Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa has been recommended from 6 seats for the February 21 House of Representatives elections. Thapa's name has been recommended directly from Kathmandu-4, Rolpa, Dhankuta, Sarlahi-4, Tehrathum and Kapilvastu-1. He has been recommended as a single candidate from Tehrathum and Kathmandu-4, while he will compete with other leaders in the remaining areas.
Thapa has previously been a member of the House of Representatives for 4 terms. He became a member of the Constituent Assembly through the proportional system in 2064 BS and became a member of the House of Representatives in 2070, 2074 and 2079 BS.
Congress central member Pradeep Poudel has been recommended as a candidate from two seats. Poudel has been recommended from Kathmandu Constituency No. 5 and Tanahun Constituency No. 2 for the direct election to the House of Representatives. In the 2079 BS elections, Poudel was elected from Kathmandu-5, while Shankar Bhandari was elected from Tanahun-2. The names of 7 people, including central members Bhandari and Poudel, have been recommended. The names of 6 people, including Poudel, have been recommended in Kathmandu-5.
Former Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba's name has also been recommended from Bardiya-2 for the upcoming House of Representatives elections. This is the constituency from which Arju's mother has also been contesting. Earlier, Arju's name was recommended from Kailali-5.
Similarly, the names of spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat, central members Pradeep Poudel, Rajani Thapa, Bhairav Sapkota, Janak Raj Shrestha and Sarin Ghimire Sharma have been recommended. Spokesperson Mahat's name has also been recommended from Nuwakot-1. Mahat is preparing to be a candidate in Nuwakot Constituency No. 1.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party President Rajendra Lingden has been recommended from Jhapa-3.
