Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal has commented that those who are creating ruckus on social media and in city markets are spreading confusion by saying that the country has been taken over by those who lack history and integrity.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the journey in honor of Keshav Rawal, who had traveled from Rukumpur to Kathmandu, he said that an attempt was made to create a narrative that parties established through decades of struggle, sacrifice and penance are no longer necessary. He claimed that while it was an attempt to mislead the citizens by presenting those who make noise on social media as saviors, the reality was not like that.
‘If you look at social media, if you look at the noise of people in the city market, it is as if those who are thoughtless, historyless, without sacrifice, penance, sacrifice and loyalty have completely taken over Nepal. It is said that parties are finished,’ he said, ‘Those who fought for decades, sacrificed and penance, have set records of thought and loyalty. It is as if they are saying that they are bad guys and they have no work anymore. There is a confusion in the hands of those who make noise on social media as saviors.’
He said that Rawal's walk has conveyed a message of unity among party leaders and workers.
