UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has described the recent political polarization as an alliance of the weak. Oli argued that the weak had to cooperate to confront a strong party like the UML.

Speaking at a program organized by the Madan-Ashrit Smriti Pratishthan in Kathmandu on Tuesday, he called UML a lion and said that it cannot be defeated by a front of chickens, goats and jackals.

Oli also claimed that the weak are constantly talking about cooperation and unity with anyone to fight a big party like the Congress and UML. Oli also said that the test of who is popular will be the upcoming election.

This is Oli's statement

The UML general convention has now given a systematic answer to the many controversies of popularity, unpopularity, and many commentaries created. The discussion about who is more popular in another country will continue until this election. People who have made the Prime Minister are at home. We are waiting for the election. When will it be? Maybe on Falgun 21? Or maybe in Baisakh. Or maybe in the next Mangsir  . We are waiting for the election. Just as we have answered many things through the general convention. Similarly, we will give a national verdict through the election. The general convention has also given a message that we are ready for that.

As the previous speaker friends said, democracy is invincible, invincible. No one can defeat it. No one can win it. Democracy wins. If one of the players in the game is a judo game, which player will be defeated at what time, which player will be defeated at what time. However, the best player wins. That is not the case now. They look at it like this – after seeing the huge UML, they say, “You and I are together,” “You and I are together.” They say, “Let’s get together with him.” They look at it like this, the huge UML.

It is with him that they fight. And to get together with the grass…. And the chickens form a front, the goats form a front, the foxes form a front and hunt the tigers and lions? Do they fight? They look at it like this – there is the Nepali Congress. It is fun until it goes to the side. When it goes to the side, it gets angry, even the Nepali Congress. They look at that too. After that, they start to form a front. The job of the weak is to form a front.

The weak talk about unity to fight the strong. Today too, there will be another unity by nightfall. Yesterday too, there was unity, yesterday too, there was unity. Today too, there will be tomorrow too. And how can two or four people, two or four people together, make a front against the ocean with the water carried in their hands? The eleventh general convention of the CPN-UML has made the same preparation. The Nepali Congress is also trying to prepare with the same clarity.
