Kulman Ghising, the patron of the Ujjaya Nepal Party, has also agreed to continue his political journey through the National Independent Party.

An RSP leader told Kantipur that an agreement was reached in the discussions taking place at the house of former RSP MP Ashim Shah in Kamalpokhari. ‘The draft of the agreement is being prepared, and it will be signed shortly,’ he said.

Earlier, Sudhan Gurung of the Council of Gen-G had taken Kulman Ghising of the Ujjaya Nepal Party to the place where discussions were going on between RSP President Lamichhane and leader Balendra Shah.

Saying that all three should be together, he took Kulman, who was preparing the proportional list at a hotel in Boudha, in his car to where Ravi-Balendra was. Leaders have said that an agreement was reached in the subsequent dialogue.

According to RSP sources, Kulman has now been asked to come to unity with a 10 percent share in the proportional list. However, Kulman had asked for 30 percent. An agreement has been reached to give 40 percent to the Balendra faction in proportional representation.
