Prime Minister Sushila Karki has urged the major political parties to make the upcoming House of Representatives elections a success, which are being held under different circumstances.

In a discussion held with top leaders of the Nepali Congress, Nepal Communist Party (UML) and Nepali Communist Party at the Prime Minister's residence on Saturday, she urged the parties to participate in the election. 

Prime Minister Karki called on them to consider the election as the future of the nation and work to ensure stable and sustainable democracy.  She emphasized that it is everyone's responsibility to make the election successful. 

According to Prime Minister Karki's secretariat, 'Let's make this election successful at all costs.  Everyone should participate in it.  The government believes that you are ready for the election.  The environment for the election is being created.  This is welcome,' the Prime Minister told the three former Prime Ministers. 

Clarifying that the government has provided the necessary resources to the Election Commission and the police administration, the Prime Minister said that the morale of the security personnel has increased. 

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, and Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal were present in the discussion. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel in the meeting.
