The talks between Ravi and Balen have not reached a conclusion due to the disagreement over power sharing. Balen had tried to reach an agreement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to include Kulman Ghising of the Ujjaya Nepal Party. For that, the Balen faction is seeking a 50 percent share.
However, RSS President Lamichhane does not seem ready for that. On Saturday afternoon, Ghising also decided to reject the Ravi-Balen homework.
As the possibility of Balen joining the party increased, the RSS leaders had distanced themselves from Kulman, whose talks to bring him into the party were underway while Lamichhane was in prison. Now, the RSP faction has proposed to bring in only Balen's team and Gen-G.
