Kulman Ghising has reached Baluwatar soon after Rabi Lamichhane decided to reject the proposal to bring alternative forces together with Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) as the president and the post-election prime minister.

Kulman and Mayor Balen Shah are meeting at a house there. They had also met on Saturday morning. However, after Kulman rejected the proposal of unity between Balen and Ravi Lamichhane, discussions are underway again.

The talks between Ravi and Balen have not reached a conclusion due to the disagreement over power sharing. Balen had tried to reach an agreement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to include Kulman Ghising of the Ujjaya Nepal Party. For that, the Balen faction is seeking a 50 percent share.

However, RSS President Lamichhane does not seem ready for that. On Saturday afternoon, Ghising also decided to reject the Ravi-Balen homework.

As the possibility of Balen joining the party increased, the RSS leaders had distanced themselves from Kulman, whose talks to bring him into the party were underway while Lamichhane was in prison. Now, the RSP faction has proposed to bring in only Balen's team and Gen-G.
