Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song has paid a farewell visit to National Assembly Speaker Narayan Prasad Dahal. Ambassador Song, who is returning after completing his term, paid a farewell visit to Speaker Dahal's office in Singha Durbar today.
During the meeting, Chairman Dahal praised the role he played in strengthening the relations between the two countries during his stay in Nepal, the National Assembly Secretariat said.
"You have played a significant role in further strengthening the relations between the two countries during your tenure. We will remember you as a good friend wherever you are," said Chairman Dahal.
Discussing the various programs being held to mark the 70th anniversary of Nepal-China diplomatic relations in 2025, Chairman Dahal informed that he had also participated in some of such programs.
On the occasion, Chinese Ambassador Song expressed his gratitude for the support and cooperation received during his tenure. He said that Nepal is a good neighbor and friend of China and the two countries have always deeply understood each other's sensitivities and concerns.
Ambassador Song also said that China is ready to provide necessary assistance in the upcoming election of members of the House of Representatives in Falgun.
