Bharat Chaudhary, Senior Vice President of Madhesh Province of Janmat Party, has left the party and joined Janata Samajwadi Party, Nepal (JSP Nepal). Chaudhary joined the party in the presence of JSP Nepal Central President Upendra Yadav at a program organized at the JSP Nepal central office on Wednesday.
At the induction program, Chairman Yadav welcomed Chaudhary by granting him party membership.
Speaking after the party induction, Bharat Chaudhary said that JSP Nepal is the right political force to institutionally advance the struggle for Madhesh issues, rights and identity.
'I have decided to move forward with JSP Nepal for the protection of the rights, federalism and inclusive democracy of the Madhesh people,' he said.
JSP Nepal leaders have expressed confidence that Chaudhary's entry will further strengthen the party's organization in Madhesh Province. According to them, the arrival of an experienced and influential leader will provide positive energy to the party in the upcoming political activities and elections.
JSP Nepal Province President Balkishore Yadav, Sarlahi District President Randhir Yadav, Central Member Peshal Dhakal, former Mayor of Kabilasi Municipality Kaushal Kishor Yadav and Basabariya Rural Municipality President Ram Sihasan Raya were present at the program.
