UML leadership elections are scheduled to be held on Monday. There will be a competition for leadership between the establishment and Senior Vice President Ishwor Pokharel's faction.

The 11th general convention of the UML was inaugurated on Saturday at Sallaghari in Bhaktapur, and the closed session has been ongoing at Bhrikutimandap on Exhibition Road since Sunday morning.
