For the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on March 21, the names of six candidates, including leaders Prakash Sharan Mahat and Pradeep Poudel, have been recommended by the Nepali Congress in Kathmandu-5.
The meeting of the Parliamentary Work Execution Committee of Kathmandu District Region No. 5, including the regional working committee, general convention representatives and all ward presidents under it, on Mangsir 23 and 24 decided to recommend the names of 6 people for direct elections and 7 people for proportional elections to President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Regional President Shyam Bahadur Khadka has informed that the names of Prakash Sharan Mahat, Pradeep Poudel, Rajani Thapa, Bhairav Sapkota, Janak Raj Shrestha and Sarin Ghimire Sharma have been recommended for direct elections.
