The Secretariat meeting accepted the supremacy of the Second Legislative General Convention and decided to have a 15-member office bearer and a 251-member Central Committee in this National General Convention, Deputy Secretary General Pradeep Gyawali informed. UML Central Office Secretary Bhishma Adhikari informed that the representatives who came to the central office were taught how to vote on electronic voting machines by conducting a sample voting.
According to Laxman Rimal, operator of Ram Laxman Innovation Pvt. Ltd., a sample voting exercise was conducted on two machines at the UML party office today. 2,400 representatives are participating in the UML general convention. According to him, 10 electronic voting machines will be placed at the convention venue, Bhrikutimandap, to teach delegates how to vote. Earlier, electronic voting machines were used at the 10th National Convention held in Chitwan. The UML Convention will be held in Kathmandu from November 10 to 12. The closed session of the convention will be held at Bhrikutimandap.
