District President Himal Karki informed that 19 names have been recommended as candidates for the House of Representatives and National Assembly elections as per the central circular.
The Udayapur Congress has recommended the names of 19 candidates for the upcoming House of Representatives and National Assembly elections.
District President Himal Karki informed that the district working committee meeting held on Thursday recommended 19 names for candidates for the House of Representatives and National Assembly elections based on the recommendations from the regional committees.
According to Karki, the names of central member Dr. Narayan Khadka, another central member Laxmi Pariyar and former district president Bidur Basnet have been recommended for direct candidacy from Udayapur-1.
Similarly, the names of Sanjeev Thapa, Krishna Kumar Shrestha and Saraswati Dhungana have been recommended for direct candidacy from Udayapur-2. The names of Narayan Bahadur Karki, Satyanarayan Chaudhary, Sita Rai and Ram Kumari Shah have been recommended for the proportional representation of the House of Representatives, informed District President Karki.
Similarly, the names of Heramba Bahadur Thapa, Arjun Kumar Khadka, Pramila Rai, Bhojraj Khatiwada, Govinda Chamling, Suman Pariyar, Janmajya Rai, Hiraman Mote and Sanja Danuwar have been recommended for the National Assembly.
