The Election Commission has called on political parties wishing to participate in the upcoming elections for the House of Representatives under the proportional electoral system to submit applications.
The Commission has issued a notice today requesting political parties interested in participating in the system to submit applications from 10:00 am on Mangsir 21 to 4:00 pm on the 23rd as per the approved election program, as the program for the system will start from Saturday.

There are now 90 days left until the election date to be held on Falgun 21.
According to the election program for the first-time (direct) elected candidate, the nomination papers of the candidates will be registered on Magh 6. The program for publishing the list of candidates has been fixed on the same day. The time for filing a complaint against the candidacy has been fixed on Magh 7. The list of candidates will be published on Magh 8.
Similarly, on Magh 9, candidates will be able to withdraw their names and on the same day, the final list of candidates will be published and the election symbol will be given to the candidates. The Commission is also preparing for the National Assembly election on Magh 11.
