The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) led by Rabi Lamichhane and the Bibeksheel Sajha Party led by Samiksha Baskota have united. The unity between the two parties was announced at the National Assembly building on Sunday.

Leader Shishir Khanal informed that after the merger between the two parties, the name of the party will remain Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the election symbol will remain the bell. Similarly, it has been agreed that the leaders of Bibeksheel Sajha will be kept on the federal leadership platform until the party general convention.

It is said that the status of the platform members will be similar to central members. The agreement states that the responsibilities of the leaders will be shared at the lower levels of the party with inclusiveness and mutual understanding.
