UML has announced another youth organization, the 'National Volunteers Force'. Chairman KP Sharma Oli has announced the force.
At a banquet in Kathmandu on Friday, he said that if someone tries to take the country on an undemocratic path, they will stop it with force. ‘If someone tries to take the country on an undemocratic path, tries to create chaos, tries to commit arson, sabotage, or rule by a demon, volunteers will stop it,’ Oli said, ‘The government has declared elections. At the same time, peaceful gatherings are not allowed, leaders are not allowed to go anywhere, or give speeches, and an authoritarian tendency has also been seen.’
He accused activities in the name of Genji. ‘Anarchic activities are those of fake Genji. One cannot create trouble in the name of Genji,’ he said, ‘The government should stop anarchic activities immediately. It says it will hold elections, but it does such things. The question is how it works.’
