Oli says: ”Government ministers should not talk too much. Isn't it their responsibility to hold elections? Ambassadors are called instead of being called by the Supreme Court. Ambassadors are representatives of the country. They are not in-service ambassadors.”
UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has claimed that the current government is not prepared to hold elections. At a program in Kathmandu, he said that the government's actions have gone in the direction of not holding elections.
‘This government is not made to hold elections. Even though it says to hold elections in 6 months, in some countries it has been 5 years since elections were held. This government will not hold elections,’ he said, adding that the country will be put back on the constitutional track by re-establishing the House of Representatives.’ He urged the government ministers not to talk too much and to fulfill their responsibilities.
‘Government ministers should not talk too much. Isn’t it their responsibility to hold elections? Ambassadors are called instead of the Supreme Court not calling them. Ambassadors are representatives of the country. They are not in-service ambassadors,’ he said, ‘Ambassadors will come back and appear abroad. Does the government know the law or not? In which attendance book should they appear? Talking like that?’
He said that there is currently an activity to dissolve the party. ‘There is a wave of dissolution of the party itself. Trade unions are a global organization. They were born in an exploitative era,’ he said, ‘Trade union rights were then. Trade unions cannot be destroyed. No one can destroy them.’
