Prime Minister Sushila Karki has taken the initiative to resolve the problems of cooperative victims. On Thursday, Prime Minister Karki held a discussion at Singha Durbar at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers with Minister for Cooperatives Anil Sinha, Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperatives Kedarnath Sharma, Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office Rajkumar Shrestha, the Chairman of the Crisis Problem Resolution Committee, officials of the Cooperative Regulatory Authority, and officials of the National Federation for the Protection of Cooperative Victims.

During that time, she said that those who cheat cooperatives should not be left behind under any circumstances. ‘Those who cheat should not be left behind under any circumstances. They wear gold watches. They drive expensive cars. They get fake divorces. They cannot be left behind. Instead, if there is a problem in the law, let’s amend it,’ the Prime Minister has clearly said, ‘We should do whatever we can, but let’s not leave those who cheat, let’s put an end to the situation where the victims have to walk around crying.’

‘We should do it now. We should do it ourselves. The main task of this government is to hold elections, take action against corruption and solve cooperative problems. This is what we have come for,’ she said.

She said that the savings of the victims should be returned even if it is by auctioning the houses and properties of those who have been cheated by cooperatives. ‘If we don’t do it, who will? This government will do it. The victims walk around crying on the streets, and the cheaters walk around with a dry mouth. This should not happen,’ the Prime Minister said, ‘This is not the identity of a civilized society. Whether it's possible to auction off their property, or if there's someone abroad, they should contact them and move forward.
