The Election Commission has called the political parties on October 30th for a discussion on the upcoming House of Representatives elections scheduled for February 21st.
Commission Commissioner Dr. Janaki Kumari Tuladhar informed that the Commission has written to the political parties that represented in the dissolved House of Representatives and won at least one ward member in the last election to come to the discussion regarding the preparations for the upcoming elections.
Commission has said that it has written to Nepali Congress, Nepal Communist Party (UML), Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre), National Independence Party (RASWPA), National Democratic Party and other parties.
Commissioner Dr. Tuladhar said that even though the commission announced the election schedule on October 20th, it is for the internal work plan of the commission, but the decision will be taken after the discussion of the political parties including the election program. .
