After the change of power in the wake of the Gen-Ji movement, the newly appointed ministers have assumed responsibility since Monday. Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki has brought three ministers in the government in the first phase.

Rameshwar Prasad Khanal as Minister of Finance, Kulman Ghising as Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure and Transport and Urban Development and Omprakash Aryal as Minister of Home, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

In the morning, the three ministers who took oath at Sheetal Niwas reached the burnt-down Singha Durbar and took the first decision. All the three appointed ministers are from different backgrounds. Khanal is the former finance secretary, Ghisingh is the former executive director of Nepal Electricity Authority and Aryal is a lawyer.

Home Minister Aryal has taken three decisions while taking charge. Home Minister Aryal signed the first decision to lower the national flag and observe the day of mourning in honor of those killed in the Gen-G movement. This decision will now be formalized by the Cabinet meeting. The second decision is to immediately provide one lakh rupees to the family of the deceased for Kazkiria expenses and the finance ministry will manage the amount. Similarly, the third decision has been taken by the government to provide free and remote helicopters for the management of dead bodies according to the request of the family members of the deceased.

He arrived looking at the burnt buildings to take charge. Due to the burning down of the Ministry of Home Affairs building, his office has been built in the same building as the old Ministry of Foreign Affairs where the Attorney General's Office was also housed. He said that the Gen-G movement has opened the doors of historical opportunities after taking charge. He emphasized that everyone should participate in the election and the country should also be rebuilt.

The newly appointed Energy Minister Ghising took office in the Ministry of Energy. He was placed in the same ministry after all the parts of the ministry were not burnt and could be used. On assuming office, Energy Minister Ghisingh made the first decision to collect the dues of the Electricity Authority.

He has signed this decision as the first decision as a minister who was dismissed from the authority due to the dedicated feeder and trunk line tariff dispute. He said that the government should raise but the industrialist said that there is no TOD meter, the amount is 22 billion.

It is unclear how the government determines how much amount should be recovered. Ghising, who is also the Minister of Physical Planning, has announced that a special fund will be set up for the reconstruction of damaged structures. He has also requested the Nepalese who are outside Nepal to deposit money in such a fund. While taking charge of the Ministry, he informed that the Council of Ministers will make a formal decision about the fund. He has announced that he will not take any government facility. He has announced that his salary will be deposited in the martyrs' support fund. Taking office, he said that he will have zero tolerance against corruption.

He said that since it is his policy to put the right people in the right place, he will not compromise on this. He decided on five points. It is mentioned in the decision that after ascertaining the damage to the public structure, the reconstruction work will be carried forward immediately.

In his decision, it is said that zero tolerance will be adopted for corruption, irregularity and delay within the ministry and the agencies under it. It is also mentioned that such activities will not be tolerated, if anyone is found doing such activities, immediate action will be taken. It is mentioned in the decision that corruption control and good governance, which were mainly raised by Jen-G, will be strictly implemented.

It is mentioned in the decision that while the ongoing big project construction work will be accelerated, some big plans of strategic importance and transformation will be moved forward and the project will be selected based on priority and the results will come out.

Newly appointed Finance Minister Rameshwar Khanal made the first decision not to implement unprepared and piecemeal projects after assuming office. Taking office, Minister Khanal also asked not to call himself Hon. He said that the next priority is to meet the demands of the youth and to hold elections.

He said that now they should start rebuilding public and other properties including Singha Durbar. He said that there will be no insurance of public property and the government will have to bear most of the expenses. Khanal also claimed that the morale of the private sector will not be reduced.

Khanal is known as an efficient former administrator and economic expert. He was the finance secretary and resigned from the same ministry. He resigned with one year remaining in his term after he did not agree with the then finance minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari regarding the supplementary budget. Now he has arrived as a minister in the same ministry.

Ghising is known as efficient management. The challenge is that he has to confirm this image not as an executive but as a minister. When the pressure is increasing on him to establish a new political party for the 2084 House of Representatives elections, he suddenly has to take responsibility for three ministries.

Born in Gulmi, Minister Aryal is a well-known name in the field of constitutional law and human rights. He has been appointed as the Minister of Home Affairs, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs in the third rank. Aryal, who has always fought for justice before, has this time got the responsibility of giving justice to everyone from both the ministries.
