Dodhara-Chandni dry port to be laid as foundation stone during Prime Minister's visit to India: Home Minister Author

Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has said that the foundation stone of the dry port to be built at Dodhara-Chandni will be laid during the Prime Minister's upcoming visit to India.

During the training organized by the Nepali Congress Representative Assembly Region No. 3 Training Department in Dodhara-Chandni on Saturday, he said that during the Prime Minister's upcoming visit to India, the Prime Ministers of both countries will jointly lay the foundation stone for the construction of a dry port in Dodhara-Chandni.

'The biggest dry port of the country will be built in Dodhara-Chandni,' he said, 'It is scheduled to be laid jointly by the prime ministers of both countries.' He said that the recent development has accelerated in Dodhara-Chandni. 

Once upon a time, people used to live in fear of floods as soon as they saw a cloud in the sky. He says that after the construction of dams on the Mahakali and Jogbudha rivers in Dodhara-Chandni, security has become possible. "Because the country's biggest concrete bridge has been built on the Mahakali river, a hospital and a campus have been built here", the Home Minister said.

He mentioned that the Nepali Congress has played an important role in the construction of the constitution in the country and expressed the view that the Congress should also protect the constitution. He said that the role of Congress is important in strengthening the republican governance system. Mentioning that the current government has made policy and legal reforms, he said that there is great support from the employees.
