The Election Commission has issued a party registration notice for the by-elections to be held on October 17th in Manang Pradesh Assembly Constituency No. 2.
According to the Constitution of Nepal and the Act on Political Parties, a notice has been issued to the political parties registered with the Commission to participate in the by-elections of Provincial Assembly members of Gandaki Province under the first-come, first-served election system to apply to the Commission for party registration for election purposes from August 19 to 25.
When submitting an application for party registration, the commission said that the application must be submitted in the format of the political party regulations, full and short name of the political party, date of establishment, date of registration with the commission, address of the central office, mailing address, telephone number, email, etc.
Similarly, the number of officers and members of the party's central executive committee, state and district committees, the date of last submission of the party's annual audit report to the commission, and a copy of the decision of the central committee authorizing the party to register the party for the purpose of by-elections and to provide a formal letter of nomination of the candidate should also be submitted.
