Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has instructed the party leaders and workers to engage in self-examination and expansion of public relations to build the organization.

Addressing the meeting of the Party's Sudurpaschim Province Committee Secretariat today through virtual means, Chairman Dahal gave detailed views on the various debates, organizational situation and future strategy within the party. He said that although the party has been regaining the trust of the people recently, long-term achievements will be possible only if it can be transformed into an organization.

President Dahal said, 'Now all the leaders-activists should go to the villages and join in building, expanding and training the committees, the culture of self-examination and criticism-self-criticism should be strengthened within the party. There is a need to review the weaknesses of the past.'

President Dahal said that due to the achievements achieved while the party was in government, the subsequent alert campaign and the activities conducted by the people's organizations, the public's trust in the Maoists has increased again. He said, 'Because of the work we did when we were in government and the voice raised from the streets now, public sentiment has become positive, now it is necessary to institutionalize it through a strong organization.'  President Dahal emphasized that the building of the organization should be considered as the core of the future campaign. Mentioning that the Far West is a potential province of the Maoist center politically and organizationally, he pointed out that there is a need to mobilize the leaders and workers there in a systematic and planned manner.

On that occasion, Deputy General Secretary of the party and in-charge of the Far West, Girirajmani Pokhrel, presented a clear plan of action regarding the future strategy of the party in the Far West, organizational expansion and expansion of access to the local level.
