Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has called upon the leaders and workers to come together and take part in the street protest. Addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Saturday, he said that there is no option to protest.

Instead, he also mentioned that he should be prepared to suffer prison, nails and torture once again. He says that Dalits will not get rights only by making Dalit Act and creating authority through the House.

He also admitted that his pride is not what it used to be. He recalled that in the past, when going to vote in the elections, two vehicles of the Jan Mukti Sena were parked behind them.

Chairman Dahal said, 'We will all go to the streets as a group. We are going to protest. Instead, he is now ready to be jailed, nailed, and tortured once again. Otherwise, if the leaders who easily make rules from above, make Dalit laws by force from the House, create authorities and say that they will be free, they will not get the rights. We need power. Yesterday, the organization was not that big when it came to the peace process after the people's war. There was rap, there was heat, there was Wycle, there was army. Although there was a cantonment, there was a gun. When I went to vote in the election, two cars of the Jan Mukti Sena were placed in front of me to cast my vote. Now... not.'

President Dahal mentioned that he did not say that the army should be formed again and said that a peaceful movement is necessary. He said that after the end of the festival, the road will be used mainly.
