The ruling Congress MP Sanjay Gautam has said that there is a culture of corruption in Nepal. Parliamentarian Gautam's proposal is that initiatives should be taken to end corruption by reforming the working system of state agencies.
Congress MP Gautam said that there is a need for reform in the corruption working system in the discussion on Beruzu held in the Public Accounts Committee of the House of Representatives on Friday.
MP Gautam said that the functioning of state bodies should be made transparent. Corruption has become like our culture. Corruption has developed like our culture. As the country is in a difficult situation at this time, we have to think about it, he said, unless we take this country to a paperless and faceless system using technology, we will not get rid of corruption.
