Maoist President Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that there is an agreement to end all factionalism in the party. After the meeting of the Standing Committee on Monday, President Dahal, giving a brief response to the media persons at the party central office, said that the party has re-united.
"Maoist has reunited because it is a party that has played a leading role in strengthening the country's democratic movement and republic," said Chairman Dahal. He also said that a collective commitment has been expressed to end the factionalism in the
party. 'We have all resolved to end factionalism. It has been decided to once again go to the people and protest against the anomalies that have appeared in the country,' he said.
After Deputy General Secretary Janardan Sharma publicly criticized the party leadership, the subject also entered the standing committee meeting. In the meeting, some leaders raised the voice that Sharma should be punished. But the leaders say that the subject was openly discussed in the party.
