Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is leading the Nepali delegation to participate in the Third United Nations Conference of Landlocked Developing Countries to be held in Awaza, Turkmenistan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister Oli is going to the conference to be held from July 20 to 23 (August 5 to 8, 2025) at the formal invitation of Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres. In the
conference as the chairman of the Global Coordinating Bureau of Least Developed Countries There is a program to be addressed by Prime Minister Oli. He will co-chair a high-level round match meeting of the conference as well as address various other programs, according to the ministry. On the occasion of the
conference, Prime Minister Oli will meet with the heads of delegations of various countries and high-ranking officials of the United Nations and other international organizations.
Mrs. Radhika Shakya, Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Member of Federal Parliament Surya Bahadur Thapa Chhetri and high-ranking government officials are also participating in his visiting team. Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to return home on July 23.
