Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is heading the Nepali delegation to participate in the Third United Nations Conference of Landlocked Developing Countries to be held in Awaza city of Turkmenistan on Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister Oli is going to the conference to be held from July 20 to 23 at the formal invitation of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the Secretary General of the United Nations, His Excellency Antonio Guterres. In the
conference as the chairman of the Global Coordinating Bureau of Least Developed Countries There is a program to be addressed by Prime Minister Oli. Besides co-chairing a high-level round-table meeting of the conference, the ministry has said that he will also address various other programs. On the occasion of the
conference, Prime Minister Oli will meet with the heads of delegations of various countries and high-ranking officials of the United Nations and other international organizations. Mrs. Radhika Shakya, Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, MP Surya Bahadur Thapa Chhetri and high-ranking government officials will also participate in the visiting team of the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to return home on July 23.
