Landslides have blocked roads in Tokha and electricity services have been disrupted. Locals consider the weak structure of the wall to be the main cause of the landslide.

Due to the incessant rain on Friday, the wall at Tokha in Kathmandu has collapsed. Due to incessant rain, a wall collapsed in Tokha Municipality-4, Dhapasi Lampakha. The road was completely closed due to the landslide. Electricity supply was stopped in the area since Friday when the landslide knocked down 6 poles including a transformer. The landslide caused minor damage to Salisbury due to the downed trees.

स्थानीयवासी प्रताप खत्रीले पर्खाल अग्लो भएकाले माटो बग्न थालेको बताए । वडाले पार्क बनाएपछि लगाएको पर्खाल भत्किएको उनले बताए । स्थानीय सुरेन्द्र श्रेष्ठले राम्रोसँग जग नखनी पर्खाल माथिबाटै लगाइएकोले पहिरो गएको हुनसक्ने बताए । पर्खालको जग राम्रोसँग नखनेको उनको आरोप छ । स्थानीयहरूले पर्खाल केही दिनअघि चर्किएको तर प्लास्टिक लगाएर छेकेको बताएका छन् ।
