कुशे औंसीको अवसरमा गोकर्णेश्वर, पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिर क्षेत्रस्थित बाग्मती नदी किनारमा आफ्नो पिता गुमाएकाहरुले श्राद्ध, पितृको नाममा तर्पण एवं पिण्डदान दिइ पितालाई सम्झनेहरुको भीड देखिएको छ । आजको दिन विशेषगरी उत्तरगया भनेर चिनिने काठमाडौंको उत्तरपूर्वी भेगस्थित गोकर्णेश्वर महादेव मन्दिर परिसरमा विशेष घुइँचो लाग्छ । आजको औंसीलाई गोकर्णे औंसीका नामले पनि चिनिन्छ ।
