Today, reconstruction work is going on in the Basantpur Darbar Square area, which is listed in the World Heritage List. Old blocks and stones have been replaced and new ones have been started in the palace area. While the said work is going on, the tourists and common people going there have also faced difficulties in movement. In this area there are historical and religious heritage including Durbar Museum, Kastamandap Temple, Majudeva Temple, Kageshwari Temple, Krishna Temple, Lakshmi Narayan Temple and Krishna Temple.
