Having always had a 'Ba' Prime Minister, we have finally got a 'Mother' Prime Minister as a result of the movement and sacrifices of the Gen-G generation. This is a great achievement for us.

The Gen-G movement didn't just happen. Things that were simmering in the minds of the people exploded through this movement. Special attention should be paid to this matter.

Therefore, we should be prepared for more terrible consequences if something is done to betray the achievements and results of this movement. Therefore, to fulfill the demands of the movement, there should be no work to earn a foothold from anywhere.

In fact, the purpose of the Gen-G movement was not only to remove KP Sharma Oli and make Sushila Karki sit in the prime minister's chair. The aim of this movement is to bring radical changes in the country and address the issues of people's livelihood. The present Prime Minister is himself a connoisseur of law. He does not need to be taught the law.

The way he became the Prime Minister, the way he peacefully dissolved the parliament, there is no doubt that he will hold elections in the country and put the elected people's representatives in charge of the government. However, the people have only one question - in the elections that will be held after 6 months, the same corrupt face should be elected again and lead the government under no circumstances. 

If that happens, holding elections will be the only thing that can save the country. The Oli government was enough to hold elections. There was no need for such a movement and sacrifice of 74 people. Therefore, it will never be otherwise to expect that a fearless 'mother' Prime Minister like you will meet the demands of Gen-G and hand over power to the younger generation by conducting elections. Jen-Ji's demand is directly elected prime minister, abolition of proportional election system and reconsideration of federalism.

People need not only elections, but also good governance. Every party should be led by the youth. The leader does not choose the Prime Minister, now the people should get to choose the Prime Minister and only then will the demands of Jen-Ji be fulfilled. For 35 years, this old and old generation ruled. Even now his rule is not approved by the people. This is what Jen-ji wants to change. This is the change that Jen-ji wants from the 'mother' prime minister. Gen-ji is our future, don't ignore their demands.

Don't escape guilt  

Questions are also being raised as to how the army will protect the country and the people if it cannot save its own home. It is sad to raise questions about the responsibility and duty of the army. However, how can it be tolerated that the army sits idly by while the country is in flames? It was never a good thing for the army, which the people consider their guardian and security force, to be in shambles, and when many physical structures were burnt to ashes, it was never a good thing for the army to go on patrol just after 10:00 pm on August 24.

Jen-G was holding a peaceful protest in Kathmandu on August 23, demanding good governance and an end to corruption in the country. I was also a citizen who witnessed that peaceful movement. Everyone looked happy. However, around midday, who came from where, whose order came - that intruded into the crowd. A peaceful protest suddenly turned to destruction. Police indiscriminately fired tear gas, aerial fire and bullets. 19 youths lost their lives in a single day due to police brutality during a peaceful protest. This dark history will never be forgotten by the younger generation.

During the demonstration on August 24, Singh Darbar, Parliament Building, Supreme Court, Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Rashtrapati Bhavan, various media houses and commercial palaces, industrial areas and private houses were set on fire and vandalized. This action was wrong. This is not what the Gen-G generation is doing. So it should be properly investigated. The investigation committee formed recently by the government should investigate the facts of all these. The culprits should be severely punished.
