Example of barbarism: 2200 aerial fire and 3200 cells of tear gas

No matter how much one condemns the barbaric shooting of the then KP Sharma Oli government on the Gen-G generation, who peacefully protested against the government's corruption, exploitation, oppression and misrule and arbitrariness.

The movement that started on August 23 ended with a demonstration on the 24th. In this process, 74 people died and among the weapons used in the massacre, 1,276 government rifles/pistols and 98,491 bullets were lost.

The news titled 'Police report: 1276 rifles and pistols were looted, 98 thousand 491 bullets were lost from the archives' published in Kantipur was found to be investigative. As mentioned in the news, how much of the police used 1,315 rounds of rubber bullets is yet to be ascertained, but on August 23 and 24, there are 2,220 aerial fire and 3,223 cells of tear gas fired.

It is said that 525 vehicles were damaged during the Gen-G movement, 14 thousand 43 prisoners escaped and 7 thousand 289 are still without contact. The police itself has admitted that semi-automatic SLRs were used in Baneshwar during the Gen-G movement.

The brutality of the then government on Gen-G generation cannot be described in words. More than 2200 aerial fire on Kalila children and 3200  More than a

cell, tear gas is the epitome of barbarism. This level of violence against young children cannot be condoned under any circumstances. This is nothing but an unforgivable crime. - Gangaraj Aryal, Panini-8, Arghakhanchi
