It is remembered that around the year 045/46 we used to drink the water of Bagmati by clapping our hands. Now even walking in the Bagmati Corridor makes me feel nauseous. When walking in the morning, it is impossible to walk in Bagmati. Thinking about what will be the solution or just making speeches?
The World Bank has given a lot of money to clean up the Bagmati and make the corridor. Local municipalities have also helped. But Bagmati was never cleaned. Why? Sometimes trees have been planted to make the Bagmati banks greener, sometimes trees have been planted, but they have not been protected.
