If the parties continue to be divided, it is certain that the situation of manpower migration in the health sector will become more dire.

The main news published in Kantipur on Thursday has brought to the surface again the serious problems that have been brewing in Nepal's health sector for years. Thousands of doctors are being produced in the country every year. But most of them are migrating abroad in search of attractive employment, career development and study opportunities.
In 2023, 2,692 new doctors were registered with the Nepal Medical Council, and 2,318 people got the 'good standing certificate', which makes us think. Because all the certified doctors are preparing to go abroad. In the past four years alone, 8,624 doctors were registered, and 6,368 people sought permission to go abroad, according to the council's data, every citizen is sure to worry about the future of this country. There are many reasons for the
physician exodus. The graph of migration is rising every year due to low salary, excessive working hours, low opportunities for study and research, professional insecurity, lack of professional development and lack of respect and safety in the workplace. On top of that, the fact that political interference and party divisions in leadership selection are adding fuel to the fire is glaring like the sun of the day. The recent appointment of Vice-Chancellors in sensitive institutions like Institutes of Health Sciences is a vivid example of this. This is confirmed by the news that the quotas between the ruling parties have been arranged in Patan, Pokhara, BP Koirala and Karnali Institute of Health Sciences. This will not only hurt the dignity of those health institutions, but will certainly hurt the spine of the entire health system.
If the health sector is completely freed from politics and made the basis of people's life and future, then the crisis of doctor migration can be avoided. Therefore, it is time to listen to the pain of the people's treatment room, not the order of anyone. If the parties continue to be divided, it is certain that the situation of manpower migration in the health sector will become more dire.

The terrible news of the doctor's escape published in Kantipur has burned the hearts of all Nepalis. But the political leadership did not think that such news made any difference. After all, how long? We will be forced to read such news until the end of the politics of favoritism and others.
Our representatives are also amazing. It was never heard that such a big issue was discussed in Parliament. Even our people's representatives, who jump and talk loudly only after the media brings out the matter, are also surprised. Now every field has been destroyed by political appointments. Competence and ability are only those who are in the eyes of the leader. As long as such irony exists, such distortions will also exist.

A large number of new doctors are being produced in Nepal every year but most of them are forced to migrate abroad. The main reason for this is the political participation in the medical field. The quality of the entire sector has deteriorated when important positions in health institutions are appointed on the basis of political access rather than merit and ability. Due to this, qualified doctors are not getting the opportunity to show their abilities. Not only this, doctors have not been able to get proper remuneration and respect. Even after hard work and long studies, they are forced to choose the path of going abroad because they do not get respect in their profession and financial security. This is a great loss for our country.
To prevent exodus of doctors, the health sector must be kept free from political influence. Also, physicians should be ensured fair remuneration, respect and working environment. Only by doing this, we can retain our skilled manpower in the country and improve the health services of the country.

Political appointments in every field have made the migration of skilled manpower a terrible problem. But the contractor of bad governance has no interest and concern about this. Competence and efficiency are not evaluated here. Political beliefs, nepotism, nepotism and commissarism have affected the state of the country. From the constitutional appointments, to enter every administrative area, one must either be a party bag or pay a large sum of money. The practice of devaluing capable people and giving jobs to incompetent people on the basis of political beliefs has made a mockery of the governance system of the country. What about others? The practice of giving appointments on the basis of political affiliation is old even in the judiciary. Appointments made by recruiting party workers and making financial transactions are either loyal to the leader or to earn money. The state is trying to make the skilled manpower of the country flee. This misrule must end as soon as possible.
