In the politics of Nepal, if any case is connected to any MP, minister or leader of any party or any accusation is made, first of all that case becomes a headache for the opposition party.
After that, it gets into the parliament and creates a ruckus in the parliament, and the demand to form an inquiry committee for it keeps disrupting the parliament.
The ruling party tries to avoid forming the committee as much as possible, while the opposition party sticks to its demands. After weeks and months of protesting in the parliament, the committee is eventually formed. The committee is directed to complete the work within a certain period of time. If a parliamentary committee is formed,
The members are appointed to represent the MPs of some of the major parties represented in the parliament and even if a committee is formed by any other name of the parliamentary candidate, only the people who are involved in various fields from the quota of the political party are included in such committees. The person who is accused, the person close to him is taken to the committee.
Party pressure continues on the committee formed in this way. Not allowed to act impartially. When the committee starts preparing the report after completing the whole process, the political pressure gets even more intense and the members of the committee are verbally pressured not to write the report in such a way as to hurt the personal image of their party and the person associated with the party.
is not only this, members of the committee are also found to threaten that if other members raise questions against their party and the accused person, they will end their politics and even kill them. Thus any committee formed under the political shadow has no meaning. It is only a means of stalling for the political parties involved in the movement and it does not provide a long-term solution to any problem. There is also a history of keeping secret the reports submitted by some committees without making them public. Therefore, there is no basis to say that there is impartiality in the performance of any committee formed in such a way.
