The government should not delay the opening of fertilizer industry in the country. For this, it is necessary to encourage industrialists by giving them agricultural loans, customs exemptions and income tax exemptions. However, when the government showed indifference on this matter, the industrialists could not be excited and the farmers were always in trouble.  Immediate action should be taken against the persons and agencies involved in the business of substandard fertilizers. Also, the government should make policy and practical reforms for a sustainable solution to manure. Otherwise, the future of both Nepali agriculture and farmers is sure to be dark.
